Kerry Stephens, M.S., LPCC-S

Kerry Stephens holds a Masters degree in Community Counseling from Wright State University. He has worked in the field of mental health for over 14 years treating a wide variety of issues both in inpatient and outpatient settings with a primarily adult population.

Using a cognitive-based approach along with behavioral analysis, Kerry treats mood and anxiety disorders, relationship issues, grief, post-traumatic stress disorder and abuse among other issues. Kerry also enjoys working with elderly clients. His approach is based on the assumption that changing faulty and maladaptive thinking patterns will result in mental and emotional well-being.

Having the versatility to include a spiritual dimension to his work, Kerry is also skilled at using a faith-based/pastoral approach with those clients who are receptive to that approach.
